Clean, Safe Water for All
Even in upper-middle income developing countries like the Dominican Republic, the water delivered to homes is not fit to drink and is not consistently available. Most Dominicans purchase water in plastic containers at great cost and dire environmental impact to meet their daily needs. Water filtration is expensive, putting it out of reach for all but the wealthiest Dominicans. Love Below Water benefits from manufacturing in the Dominican Republic and we’re committed to making positive, measurable impact in the local communities of our employees and their families.

What are we doing about it?
Love Below Water is working with clean technology companies that provide advanced solutions to the world’s water challenges. We’re supporting the development of a sustainable, long-term program that allows clean drinking water to flow from the taps of homes across the Dominican Republic.
Access to clean drinking water is proven to deliver positive health, economic and environmental outcomes.
Starting with the homes and communities of the workers who sew Love Below Water suits, we aim to begin installation of advanced filtration technology in 1,000 homes this year, which would directly impact the lives of over 3,000 people. As our impact increases, we invite more brands join us, put people first, and tackle the plastic-waste crisis head-on. Eventually, we hope to save over 42 million liters of bottled water!
